Abstract : The research analyzes the current status of consumption of fresh and processed sea crabs in 3 big cities of Can Tho, Ho Chi Minh and Hanoi, and finds out the relationship among groups of factors affecting the customer intention of buying fresh and processed sea crabs by using Cronbach’s Alpha test and Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA). The analysis of 134 consumers shows that there is an average of 2.1 times/year of buying fresh crabs, 3.5kg/household/year of tomalley fat crabs, 5.1kg/household/year of male crabs, and 6kg/household/year of 1-pincer crabs (cua xô). Most consumers purchase fresh sea crabs from traditional markets to boil and cook hotpot. There are two groups of factors affecting the buy intention: perception of nutrition and perception of convenience of use. For processed sea crabs, 58.96% of the consumers have known, 17.16% have bought, and 68.6% have intended to buy. For canned crab meat, 43% of the customers have bought and supermarkets are the distribution channel that they buy the most, accounting for 47.83%. There are 3 groups of factors affecting the consumption intention of processed crabs: perception of health, perception of price and accessibility, and perception of convenience of use. These findings can help seafood processing companies introduce their processed sea crab products to market, thereby contributing to the effective of the development of the crab supply chain in the Mekong Delta..

Title : Does Financial Development Improve Agricultural Productivity Growth?
by Mela Yunita, Noer Azam Achsani, Lukytawati Anggraeni, Syamsul Hidayat Pasaribu,
Abstract : From the importance of food security and sustainable agricultural production in the future, we are necessary to know the main determinants and to understand the future policy implications. This study examines the impact of financial development (financial depth and financial efficiency) on agricultural productivity growth in 3 groups of countries namely high, middle-upper, and middle-lower income classes. This study used a panel ARDL model with different lags in each variable from 1991 until 2017. Our results show that financial development is very important for the three groups of countries to increase their agricultural productivity. Especially, it was found that financial depth and efficiency have a bigger effect on agricultural productivity in middle-upper-income countries. Contrast to previous results, financial efficiency was found not to affect agricultural productivity in middle lower-income countries. In addition, agricultural productivity also is increased by several factors such as physical capital and human capital. Therefore, this research encourages governments and central banks to gradually improve financial depth to become one of the drivers of improvement in the agricultural sector. In addition, the financial efficiency must be improved to encourage agricultural productivity, especially in the high and middle-upper countries..

Abstract : Today, food safety is the main priority for health of consumers. Recently, there is increasing in the consume of the poultry product in the World and European market. Groups of populations that consume poultry products industry searching them safety and guarantee. The contamination of fresh and packaged poultry meat and other poultry products derives from the environment and from the operating procedures applied by the companies of the production. The main objective of scientific research work is to reduce in the area of poultry sectors the degree of resistance of pathogens and their distribution. Methodology of this study is based on microbial analysis of air and their products in the poultry of Korça, isolation of pathogens microorganisms with method selection/incidence and identification of microorganisms with biochemical tests and preparations. The biochemical tests and experimental results showed that was isolated Pseudomonas spp. in outside sector and no Salmonella spp. was isolated. Measurement experimental show a large number of Escherichia coli in terrain DC. The number with E. coli in birds is bigger than in chickens to Korca poultry. E. coli is normal flora in part of cloaca as a microorganism of fecal contamination. The number of Salmonella spp. in these chickens and birds was zero. This is a very good indicator in the quality of poultry meat..

Abstract : Currently, the automatic production for net-wrapper spring rolls is not yet available, many operations are still done manually, such as loading the cake exactly on the conveyor, supplying the core on the cake and curling up the spring rolls on the conveyor. In fact, there is a device that can take the net-wrapper, but it is not satisfied with the requirements of line automatic production spring rolls. The paper presents a solution for the design and development of the mechanical mechanism with the principle of a centrifugal fan and using PLC control technique to take the cake from the shaping equipment to the nominal position on the conveyor. This solution replaces the robotic manipulator for automatic net-wrapper production, which is not satisfied with the requirements of the automatic production line for net-wrapper spring rolls..

Abstract : The eggs are widely used in the food industry and in consumer diets. The egg is well preserved in natural conditions because it has physico- chemical protectors. If they are cracked and damaged, this natural defense is lowered and the egg becomes a conducive environment for the growth of microorganisms, which endanger the health of consumers. Therefore, it is important that they are safe and microbiologically clean. Egg production (from chickens) in the Korça area is dominated by poultry, but also small producers (village). In this study, the general microflora of eggs on the surface (shell) and inside them was determined. Eggs obtained directly from the production sites were studied: Korça poultry and small farms of villagers stored at room temperature and some of them stored in the refrigerator (cooling). The number of microorganisms on the surface and inside in all samples (selection / incidence method) was compared. The study also consists in determining the pathogenic microflora for Enterobacteriaceae. Biochemical tests were performed to identify the presence of Salmonella spp. to eggs. Experimental measurements show: the total microbial load is higher than the surface of eggs inside them. The largest amount of microorganisms was counted on the surface of eggs taken from small farms than from Korça poultry plants. From the analyzed samples it resulted that, there was no presence of Salmonella spp..
