Natural resources preservation and sustainable livelihood development are prominent issue in most developing countries. As in protected areas where local people activities might directly affect the environment. The paper aims to examine the factors affecting the adoption of agricultural practices in Hoang Lien National Park, Lao Cai. The primary data was collected from 52 households who are beneficiaries of a development project from 8 villages inside and nearby Hoang Lien National Park. Logit model was employed to discover adoption factors of the households. The findings pointed out that human and social capitals play an important role in facilitating the adoption of agricultural practices among farmers living in Hoang Lien national park. Therefore, enhancing the education of farmers will increase the adoption of agricultural technology and practices. In addition, encouraging farmers to participate in the cooperative or other social group will enhance the adoption of agricultural innovation and practices in Hoang Lien National Park.
