Title : STUDY OF POTATO TUBER MOTH BIOLOGY (PHTHORIMAEA OPERCULELLA), IN THE VEGETATION PERIOD, IN KORCA REGION
by Besnik Skenderasi, Gjergji Mero, Nikolin Karapanco, Shpend Shahini,
Abstract : Potato tuber moth (Phthorimaea operculella) [1] (Zeller), is a pest mainly of solanaceous plants, especially for potato crop. In the period of full potato germination, the adult insects after mating begin to lay eggs mainly in leaves or tubers throughout the vegetation. When there are soil cracks or potato seed is sown shallow, moths prefer to lay eggs near potato buds. In the leaves it forms galleries between the two epidermis of the leaf or in the stalk and in the tubule. The damage in the leaves does not turn out to cause major damage, but in potato tubers the damage can go up to 100% of production, both in the field and in the storage. Tubers are damaged by reducing the quantity and quality but also the values as planting material. During the vegetation, the potato crop is damaged by 4 generations of the pest, a fifth generation begins to develop during October in the potato waste left on the ground after harvest, in tobacco, tomatoes, sugar beets, weeds or in storage. Farmers find it very difficult to control the development of this pest, despite the chemical treatments carried out against this pest. Cultivation of resistant species, as well as the application of good agricultural practices such as frequent irrigation with reduced water rates, planting potato seeds at a depth of not less than 10 cm can ensure a good yield. Pest monitoring mainly through sexual pheromone use and the application of chemical treatments immediately after the first larvae hatching from the egg, reduce significantly yield damage in both quantity and quality..

Title : Indonesian Agriculture-Based Creative Industry Challenges and Strategies – A Case Study of Rattan
by Donald Crestofel Lantu, Mia Rosmiati, Sri Herliana, Rendra Chaerudin, Nur Lawiyah,
Abstract : International trade, especially in export transactions, has become a special concern for both the Government and business owners who participate in it. Indonesia as an agricultural country, has agricultural resources that encourage export trade. These agricultural resources are not only sold in raw conditions, but also developed into creative industry products. Rattan is Indonesia's mainstay export commodity, the policy of banning the export of rattan in its raw condition encourages creative industries to process rattan into finished products. There is little literature on international trade in export commodities. In meeting this gap, this study discusses and analyzes more deeply the challenges and strategies of the Indonesian agriculture-based creative industry, especially in the rattan commodity. This study uses a literature review approach from various types of data, with RCA, SWOT, and TOWS analysis approaches..

Title : Building digital agriculture maps based on drone and AI
by Nguyen Le Dung, Nguyen Le Dung, Vo Quoc Long, Pham Ngoc Tuan,
Abstract : With increasingly advanced technology, drones [1- 11] become popular and applied in many fields, in which agriculture is a large area that digital mapping platforms are very focused on. We apply drones to collect image information, GPS, IMU sensors on a large scale, from which to combine into a digital map system (Ransac, Mosaic, Stitching.). The vegetation spectral indices separated from the near-infrared, infrared and red bands are intermediate parameters from which different characteristics of vegetation such as biomass, index can be seen. leaf area, photosynthetic capacity, and total seasonal biomass products that plants can produce. These characteristics are related and highly dependent on the type of vegetation cover and weather, physiological, biochemical and pest characteristics… Approximate technology for monitoring the characteristics of different ecosystems to recognize standard forms and comparisons between them. From this data, we evaluate the quality of plants through the Normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI), in addition, we use the Object detection (Yolo) model to classify plants, animals, and forest fires on the data map..

Title : Apply artificial intelligence to the robot picking strawberries
by Nguyen Le Dung, Phan Huynh Lam, Huynh Thien Nhien,
Abstract : Smart agriculture [1-10] is becoming more and more popular, from monitoring systems in greenhouses to agricultural robots. Today, the application of robots to agriculture is not unfamiliar, particularly with the development of AI, that we can create robots that automatically harvest agricultural products [13]. Some parts of the world focus on NIR cameras to process identification under models RCNN, Faster R-CNN, VOC ... in this article, we mention the use of Yolo v3 to identify strawberries by Real sense D435i 3D camera, then through the evaluation function to select a strawberry to locate the strawberry in the space for easy harvest robot, to identify the strawberry in the space we combine the 3 direction property The axis in the IMU has built-in camera and 3D image space, the harvesting process is a dynamic process, so we will use anti-noise filters, target orientation, IMU sensor noise and follow the trajectory. transfer, ensuring the picking mechanism does not occur instability when identification error and sensor impact on the system. Where the anti-noise filter for IMU sensor status is extended Kalman and for the motion process is a smooth line incorporating gauges to eliminate peak noise. In this section, we only focus on the application of strawberry identification and identification in space; In the next direction, we will evaluate the SLAM combination robot system for self-propelled problem..

Abstract : Rice production for family food security is an innovation. In this instance, external support services are provided when farmers integrate rice into their food production systems. The extent to which rice is successfully integrated would enhance farmer attitude, profit, and production efficiency. Therefore, this study aimed to examine whether farmers possessed favorable attitudes toward rice production, made profits and were technically efficient in growing rice. Additionally, the technical inefficiency effects of selected farm-specific socioeconomic factors on technical efficiency were evaluated. Three approaches, Likert scaling, cost accounting, and stochastic frontier production function, were applied to analyze the input-output and attitude data collected. The results indicate that while smallholder farmers possessed favorable attitudes toward local rice farming, production was economically unprofitable and technically inefficient. Low cash cost farm investment and the high cost of labor-dependent production have caused production economically unprofitable. However, area and cash costs attributed increased and significant productivity effects on output milled rice. Additionally, cultivated areas and tools provided were the most critical farm-specific factors influencing technical efficiency in smallholder rice production. Thus, given the food security aspect, a farm expansion program with external support services and farmer training programs would improve rice farmers' farm investments and technical efficiency in Bogia District..
